Access to business information databases for research & development

Access to the databases is currently limited; please see the COVID-19 Updates page for details.

In addition to hard-copy information and periodicals, the Centre subscribes to a range of business information databases. These are free-to-access, enabling users to research a business idea, look at sector trends, develop a product, scope the competition or look for potential customers to support the start up and growth of local companies.

The subscription costs for many of these resources would be beyond the reach of most small businesses, so it pays to make the most of them. Make an appointment to come and see us and we’ll do our best to direct you to where you’ll be able to access the information you need and assist you to navigate the databases. Or you can pop in and use the resources yourself, within our dedicated BIPC IT suite.
