2020 has shone a light on the importance of getting self-assessment right, with thousands of businesses and self-employed individuals relying on their most recent returns to benefit from the government’s COVID-19 support package. For many, especially the newly self-employed, self-assessment can feel hard to navigate – but PNE are here to make things easy.

In this webinar, delivered by by PNE Enterprise, local entrepreneur Keith Nicholson and business support advisor Melissa Middleton will share their expertise and experience of the self-assessment process, to ensure you have tools and knowledge you need to prepare your tax return.

Topics will include:

  • What does self-assessment involve?
  • What information does HMRC collect?
  • Top tips for getting self-assessment ready.

Alongside answering common questions, there will be an opportunity for you to share the topics you think are most important at registration and the aim is to address them in the content during this interactive session. The webinar learning will last for 1 hour, followed by 30 minutes of audience questions.

About the presenters, Keith Nicholson and Melissa Middleton:

Keith is a Director at KEDA Group, a project management and contracting company, and runs a number of small businesses based in the North East. He has almost 20 years’ experience of working with companies, social enterprises and charities in a range of management, governance, leadership and business development roles.

Melissa is Business Support Coordinator at PNE Enterprise, delivering her expertise on starting and growing a business across the North East. In over 15 years providing enterprise support, she has helped thousands of businesses and aspiring business owners to achieve their goals. Melissa has received the NatWest National Unsung Hero Award and the If We Can You Can’s Supporter of the Year Award.
