Bruce Patterson and Chloe Johnston are both Watch Managers at Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service.
Bruce joined in 2002 and Chloe joined in 2007, both having almost 10 years’ experience in the Fire Safety Department each (they both started in fire safety in March 2009).
They have both worked on a number of high profile new and altered building consultations and conducted complex fire safety audits at a various types of premises in Tyne and Wear. They both manage a group of Fire Safety Inspectors out of an office that covers Newcastle and North Tyneside. Together with the team they conduct fire safety audits, following up fires and concerns and liaise with Building Control for all commercial type premises. They also deal with the licencing of Petroleum and Fireworks.
In this session they can provide advice on fire safety, without prejudice to Building Regulations and your Fire Risk Assessment, which can assist you in making your premises safe from fire for the protection of people and your business.
